My home country described in a book with a slight bias from it's author(s). Lots of very useful information. I recommend the rough guides anyway, and this is a good one for the Netherlands.

Ofcourse the Europe guide gives less information then the guides for the different countries but on a tour of Europe this is a useful book.

A good book on playing tourist in the US of A. I've used it on trips to the US, and I recommend it. Lots of information. Do get the latest edition for up to date information and prices.

Review:
In the great storytelling style of Michael Palin he goes off to follow the trail of the life of Ernest Hemingway from his place of birth to his place of death, following known stories, details he worked into his books, places where he became a legend and the places trying to earn money from the fact that Hemingway was there. Without following a worn-out tourist trail. He really brings the person of Ernest Hemingway to life and the book has helped me a lot in learning about a very famous writer.
