Review:
Perhaps the perfect children's bedtime book, Goodnight Moon is a short poem of goodnight wishes from a young rabbit preparing for--or attempting to postpone--his own slumber. He says goodnight to every object in sight and within earshot, including the "quiet old lady whispering hush." Clement Hurd's illustrations are simple and effective, alternating between small ink drawings and wide, brightly colored views of the little rabbit's room. Finding all of the items mentioned throughout the book within the pictures is a good bedtime activity--a reappearing little mouse is particularly pesky. By the end of the little rabbit's goodnight poem, the story has quieted to a whisper, and the drawings have darkened with nightfall. As you turn... Rest of this review on the detail page

Review:
Its a great book, and its not just for kids! it has information on different species of dragons, dragon behaviors, samples of "real" dragon wing membranes and scales etc..., I personally like the dragon language in it, I memorised the language and read the spell thats in the envelope in appendix 2. So I conclude that even though its a little pricey I think you should buy it.

Review:
This encyclopedia can make anyone feel like a scientist! Not only does it have fascinating facts on everything from atoms to zephyrs, it also shows how scientists work--describing, measuring, and asking questions about the world. Filled with detailed, sharp illustrations and eye-catching photographs, this book could keep a curious kid (or adult!) occupied for weeks. The one- and two-page entries are thematically organized--much more useful than alphabetical entries for making connections and thinking about whole systems. Some of the best categories are "Reactions," "Materials," "Weather," "Space," and "How Living Things Work." But every entry has accurate, well-written text cross-indexed to ... Book description
Beginning drawing and writing lessons for children ages five to ten. The unit study in BOOK 5 is on The United States. First, it covers the fundamental principles for which the United States stands, then shows the westward growth of the nation. The book is simple enough for a young child to do independently, or a teacher or parent may present the lessons. Each drawing lesson includes a colorful picture and step-by-step instructions, while the writing lesson includes four simple handwritten sentences. The teacher or parent may introduce letter formation or have the children copy the sentences for handwriting practice, or use lessons as springboards for creative writing or report writing. Developed by an elementary school teacher and co-autho... Rest of this review on the detail page
