Reviewer Koos van den Hout wrote:This is the second book of the Arkha Chronicles, after "To Save the World". The SciFi with a fantasy twist continues. Or maybe it is fantasy with some SciFi, with special magic and dragons. As far as the series of books go, the plot development in this book is somewhat less than that in the first book. As a book in itself it can stand mostly on its own, without descriptions getting in the way of the story. The fresh perspective of SciFi with a female lead character still stands in this book, without the fantasy angle too much veering off into pink daisies or other 'girlish' things.
