The Virtual Bookcase Reviews of 'The Time Has Come: The Book of Grace':

Reviewer Koos van den Hout wrote:
This book is hard to 'place' for me. It has a strong religious angle, but there are also elements of new age in it, and a strong parallel with current history. Certain elements made me think back of bible stories. And the way things are described does give a strong feeling of an (American) religious background. Readers who have no Christian background will probably find the book hard to comprehend. In my opinion it does help to have an idea about Christianity and the bible in order to understand and enjoy the book. People with this background will find it a beautiful book, I think. At certain points the book was a bit much of a 'feelgood story' to me, but other parts balanced this, resulting in a buildup of a much bigger story which doesn't end at the end of this book (it is part of a trilogy). All in all, not an easy book, and not what it seems at first sight. But reading it was rewarding in itself as a beautiful and inspiring story unfolds.

Book description:

The Time has Come: The Book of Grace, Part One (1999-2013) is the first book of a mystical trilogy that begins with the birth of Grace in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born then abandoned by 13-year-old Rachel. Grace is the last of those chosen by the Creator to fulfill the true plan for all. She came to lead humanity through the tumultuous and frightening changes on earth into an era of peace. Albert, a middle-aged, black man finds the abandoned baby and brings her home to his family; one year later, he finds Rachel and does the same. For she too plays a significant role in the times to come, as the woman who will heal the physical wounds of her brethren, at the side of the child she bore, who will heal and make ready the hearts of humanity to live as was intended-in peace.
