Book descriptionCliff sets his goals to increase the skill level of the general camping public. He begins this book by insisting, "Skills are more important than things." Of course, a thorough explanation of gear is included; however, Cliff concentrates his discussions of how to use it properly. He has some ideas that will make roughing-it easy. Thumb through the pages and inspect the illustrations. You will be convinced Cliff knows camping. Designed for beginners, this book should also be used by camping (trip) leaders to aid in teaching less experienced trip members.
