This remarkable true story originated from actual journal entries of an Arab man who traveled with a group of Vikings throughout northern Europe. A hilariously but serious book about an ordinary person who becomes infected with HIV. Ava Johnson a hair stylist from Atlanta whose whole world was turned upside down when she became aware of her illness. Ava needs to make a change and moves in with her sister in a small town called Ildewild. In this small city she tried to make a change in the young girl's lives in the small community, so she helped her sister with the Seing Circus a small "club" that took place in their church. She helped her sister Joyce through the trials and tribulations on keeping the Circus going and they succeeded. Provides great insight and really gets to the root of how teens think, as well as being totally respectful. She sounds like a wonderful teacher and has many creative ideas.
