Great books playing in fantasy worlds.

Review:Exile fits perfectly in the Dark Elf Trilogy. In this book, we get to know the nature of the environment in which Drizzt has grown up and in which he is living right now. Salvatore's writing style is great. The book never really stops with being good for one line. Everything in the book has a function, everything belongs there. Great book!

Review:The third book in this trilogy is the last, but certainly not the least. The adventures Drizzt encounters on the surface are great! Also, on purpose or not, Salvatore used aspects of our everyday live (rascism) in a way that everyone can learn of it. This third book is not only a good sequel to the first to books in the trilogy, it's outstanding on it's own!

Review:Another epic story of the writer of the Dark Elf Trilogy and the first book of this trilogy. A lot of storylines weave together in this book as Regis is pursued, and the companions set out to journey through the whole world to find Mithril Hall. Salvatore describes without any difficulty a journey throughout the whole world, meeting a lot of awesomely described personalities and showing the already so great main characters in their own way of living. A great book and a worthy sequel to the first book in this trilogy.

Review:In other trilogies, sometimes writing are having trouble getting enough inspiration for the third book. But not Salvatore, and certainly not with this book! This is one of the most exciting books. Not just of this trilogy, but of all the books Salvatore has writing about the Forgotten Realms. Not just your average journey is described here, but also the travelling between the planes of existence. And Salvatore writes about the other planes as if he went their himself and is telling about his own experiences. The tension is enormous, and when you've finished reading this book, it's hard to start another book by Salvatore without having great expectations...
