Review:
Though this book was originally written for children, it's a wonderful book. The fact that it's not originally meant for adults to read is clear, but the storyline is wonderful. This is one of those classics that everybody should read!

Review:
Homeland is the first fantasy-book I ever read after reading Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. And it was 100% great! The first book in the Dark Elf Trilogy lets us meet Drizzt, but also explains to us the ways of the evil drow from the eyes of one of the persons in the middle of the society but not liking it. Salvatore perfectly explains everything in this book. Officially the Icewind Dale trilogy is the first trilogy in the Drizzt-series, but I would recommend reading this trilogy before the Icewind Dale Trilogy.
