Review:Being a complete newbie to advanced scripting languages (ok, I know some javascript, but that's all) I wanted to learn PHP. And there couldn't be an easier book than this one.
This book covers PHP as well as some basic programming elements needed to understand PHP. A wonderful way to learn not only coding in PHP, but coding in general.
Certainly, this book is recommended for people who want to learn PHP.
