New Harry Potter book sets all book printing records

The new Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince (US edition) / (UK edition) is breaking all records in book printing. Scholastic, the US publisher, is printing 10.8 million copies, an absolute record in bookprinting in the US. The previous Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix (US edition) eventually had 9.3 million copies printed, also breaking all records. Big sellers like Wal-Mart and Amazon are planning to sell a large part of that print run with big promotions.
