Devoted to the topic of the use of computer-mediated communication tools for teaching, this book is a rather pedestrian collection of anecdotes and suggestions. While the material is not impractical, it could be inspiring only to those who have no experience with telecommunications tools. This is particularly disappointing in light of Hiltz and Turoff's excellent "Network Nation" .
