Reviewer Rob Slade wrote:
Grochow begins by stating that his book will not have a practical value: it
will not tell you how to succeed, nor how to avoid failure. He then proceeds
to touch briefly on a great number of topics and technologies related to
systems development. It is, therefore, very difficult to state briefly what
the book is about or for.
Not that the work is without value. There is nothing wrong n any of the
advice. The content is not only readable, but even amusing. The points raised
are important, and deserve consideration.
Overall, this book is a good bedside companion for any developer of large
systems. Chapters are short, and provoke thought. Points could be revisited
from time to time.
