The Virtual Bookcase Reviews of 'The Blue Marionette':

Reviewer Elsan H. Stafford wrote:
The sweetest, most beautiful love story I've ever read and one heck of a World War II tale as well! It doesn't matter I'm the author's son. I could be a three-headed alien from another galaxy and find my heart stirred to mutiny after reading Elsan's semi-bio novel. The story is so real that you feel you are actually part of it and suffering and experiencing it firsthand. Oh, if only the entire world could beautifully suffer such a passionately-told and spiritually fulfilling tome! The whold planet would be stirred to mutiny and heights of magical endeavor!!

Book description:

This is a hauntingly poignant tale dealing with the myriad experiences of a once-in-a-lifetime love, and the devastating force of its ultimate impact on the psyche of a devoted and sensitive man, dating from the naivete of early youth to the acculturation of mature manhood. This is a novel about one man’s relationship with life and burgeoning love in a world of a bygone era (America, circa 1920 -1945), when innocence was the acceptable standard of moral conduct and honor foremost in the vanguard of human experience. Passionate in theme and spiritual in its inexorable premise of true love and character-driven destiny, The Blue Marionette is a story about one man’s efforts to salvage happiness and redemption from the pernicious strings of an ever-omnipresent puppeteer.
