The Virtual Bookcase Reviews of 'The Veil of a Thousand Tears':
Reviewer maddragon wrote:As with The Ring of Five Dragons Van Lustbader crafts a suberb novel immersing us in the world of Kundala. Van Lustbader blends sprituality, technology, and pure fantasty as a backdrop to the epic good vs evil saga. As the saga continues, like with Jordan's Wheel of Time cycle, characters and complexity are added layer upon layer.
The reader is left wanting the continuation of The Pearl NOW!

We see more development of Rian and the guy that used to be Annon's best friend and some minor characters from the first book step up. Also the scope of the story expands to include more than finding an artifact and saving the planet from doom. I give it a B on my webpage the StuPage Book Reviews.
