I have just read all the Harry Potter books in row ( The order was: 2,3,4,5,1). I'm 95% positive this version I have read is real. Probably not final, since it still had plenty of spelling and other mistakes like mixing up names, but writing is definitely Rowling.
It is interesting, that Harry Potter's are considered to be childrens books. I am 30 years old, and I have found them very fascinating.
The story went the same way as in previous books - of course the plot was different. I am very reluctant to write anything about the plot, since I don't want to spoil anybodys reading.
However, the idea is this DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW!: Harry needs to bring his mother back to life by using The Order Of Phoenix. He needs to do that before Voldemort - who is now in his full powers - brings her back to halflife.
What I found surprising, is that this book is far more violent than the previous ones. The book shows - Of course it shows - the age of the characters, but it is very clean. There definitely is not any sex! Also there is nothing between Snape and Lily. This book reveals a lot of secrets from different characters - I would say almost too much: What will be left for the future books? Well, Rowling is very capable as a writer, so I think she already knows what she will write next.
I recommend this book to anybody how likes Harry Potter books. Still I like The Prisoner of Azkaban to be the best of all.
By the way: It was very interesting to read nr.1 after reading this. Try it.
PS. Sorry about my bad English.

Being a journalist, I had access to a version of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix; though reading it on the screen of my Laptop made my eyes ache, I went through the 553 Pages in 3 days. Boy, and I am not even payed to write a review about it... Now I am not sure if the Version I got to read will be the one that gets into the shelves by the official book release. I have my doubts. It was an experience to read this Book, I admit the story kept me breathless until the last sentence. But, without spoiling you the surprise, there has been content I would not expect in a book that has it's most readers among teens... even though JK Rowling never got too explicit, there are several description of sexual intercourse in this book that seemed not really to fit into the image the other 4 books left in me. In an Interview I heard Rowling say that with the main characters getting older, the story itself will evolve in a way that being a 15 year old teenager brings new subjects to the story eg. as the characters suddenly experience their sexuality.
Well, I think she took it too far. Age 15 one might have been brave enough to stand up in front of others and kissed ones girlfriend openly, but suggesting that with that very first, freshly arroused senses for love and romantic these teenager deliver love scenes as we expect them from adults seems a bit far-fetched to me. I hope these scenes, though neccessary for the whole plot, will have gotten a rebrush, leaving more to the imagination of the reader. (Especially the rape scene.) I understand that Harry Potter is not a saint. But pushing him from shy and childish to sexy-lover-boy within just one year is just asking for more imagination I can summon.
Besides this, the new Book is revealing a lot of insights on Harrys past, her mother Lilly and Snape, Krum and Hermiones further relationship, and surprising new turns with Draco Malfoy becoming HP's new best friend (not really... but read yourself....)
I wonder if anybody else had a chance to read the script so far; I am courious in what way the original scipt I read will change. I am pretty much sure that the version I have is not likely be the final one since the already released short passages that went out to the press were nowhere to be found in this script, at least not in the same words. Also the chapter numbers differ; the book is supposed to have 38 chapters, my script had only 33. Hopefully Rowling has taken some of the sexual content out of this book, else I fear a new rage among worried parents, though we see it on tv 24/7...
