Now that I've read the actual book...I was shocked. What a bummer, bring someone in, kill them off, let Harry have no time to recover before doubting himself and then poof, school years over, we know why Voldemort wanted to kill Harry and brings up how Neville COULD have been the one, but a choice screwed him over!?!? Yeah I loved the book, good stuff, I'm now re-reading it so I can find the details I missed the first time I read it!

Today is Sunday the 22 and I have been reading this book for two days(I got it a Kroger at Midnight Friday and it is the real book). I am half way through the book on chapter eighteen. I can tell you the only thing near to sexual is that Ginny has a boyfriend. Harry is really full of anger in this book, I have been shocked by his raging, but it is understandable.

Hi im 22 and if just finished reading the book (wich got out yesterday) i must say the book is quite good, with the tipical distribution of the others (prologue , school , back home ) , its interesting to see the developing of the characters... harry is defenitly not a wise guy , but more a ragy , confused , too much atention on him kid . The development of other characters isnt the same... cho isnt as ideal as she seems , ron & hermione looking quite the same.. anyway , i liked the book , although i had hoped harry turned out to be a little more wiser... (maybe next one?) , pitty that we will probably have to wait ANOTHER 3 LONG YEARS to get next one.... (anybody got a timetravel machine?)

I just read the _ACTUAL_ HP 5 book bought yesterday from WHSmiths :P
There is NO sex, descriptions of sex or anything sexually related, just a few kisses. I don't think any of the reviews here are for the real one. The order of the phoenix refers to a group, not an object or anything like that. Personally I think JKs holding back on the whole adolesence thing for the kids.

After months of agonising wait, I finally picked up my copy at midnight on 21 June, at the beginning of a long queue, of both adults and children. 20 hours later, with no sleep and nothing to eat, I had finished the book, and wow! This book is full of tension more than anything. For a change, instead of an adventure being a surprise for Harry at the end of the book, he was almost waiting for one the entire book. I met a teacher who I hate more than Snape, Miss ("hem hem") Umbridge, who caused such a fury inside me when I read about her detentions and her treatment of both students and teachers.
Harry is angry, delightfully so, full of pain for last year's events and full of bitterness about people believing the Daily Prophet's revelations and baseless rumours about him. I have never felt so much pity for Harry in this book, not least so when the "death" finally occurs. I cried an awful lot, but surprisingly, not as much as when I read Dumbledore's comments and explanations to Harry at the end. We've always known Dumbledore liked Harry, but his admittance to it and his tear at telling Harry why he wasn;t picked as a prefect had me very emotionally moved.
This book has done something I thought impossible; beat the last one. I am so anxious for the next book. It seems Voldemort hasn't truly started on his rampage of murders yet, and this book may well be the relative calm before the storm. The excitement in this book is coupled with Harry's first love and kiss, his defiance, and his change into a man. In a way, I am dreading the last book. I never want this to end. I will be thunderstruck if Harry dies, and I truly hope he doesn't.
All the way from England...your friends across the pond xxxx

I have just completed the REAL Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and it was FANTASTIC! I don't know why people are having such trouble reading it, because I found it immensley easy to get through! It was wonderful. Poor old Sirius, I cried when I found out HE DIED! (Sorry to spoil it for all you stupid losers who haven't read that part yet because you are too slow on the uptake...) Anyway, no sex, no drugs, no rock 'n' roll... (as was predicted) just fantastic writing! Anyway, does anyone have an idea when the next book comes out? I would love to know! I'm giving this 5/5 definately. Oh, in case you want to know, the next book to come out is Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch... and just to finish, what is with this fake Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix? I would love to read it! Anyone got a copy that I could read in e-mail form? Anyway, FANTASTIC book, lived it, loved it, reading it again now!

I started reading this at 4 o-clock on sataurday and didn't put it down until 12 hours later. Rowling's writing style in this is a lot more mature, words londer, concepts harder, and it was a LOT scarier. (I had the hard-cover british version, and I was wondering what the american one said when neville was talking about the "Philogerohers stone" - I don't see how you can muck up sorcerer. Anyway, the book had a tension right through it that made it hard to put down, and is now my favourite one of the series. Perfect. Now i'm going to get some food, because I haven't eaten in twelve hours - ouch!!

How can you people believe rape would ever be an issue in a Harry Potter book? Surely you realise that J.K Rowling was so secretive about the plot that only two people had access to the editing of the book and that not even her husband knew who died in it? So how on earth would there be a full version of OOTP just lying around on the internet? Come on! Whoever it was that said "as i am a journalist" bla bla was talking crap. And how, after reading the previous 4 books can anyone actually believe the nonsense the fake version was spouting!!!!
Anyway, i just read the REAL version, and it's absolutely brilliant! Darker, funnier and sadder than all the rest combined, lots of questions are answered, although i was a bit disappointed to learn the truth about why Harrys mother and father were murdered, Dumbledore does'nt mention why Lily died needlessly. Anyway, i really can't wait for book 6. I'm just wondering how long it will be, OOTP is huge!
