Reviewer michael morris wrote:I really loved this book and how it told of the atrraction between two people and although I am male I cried like a baby. This is the only book that has done this to me. I will treasure this for ever.
Reviewer Joanne wrote:Brilliant idea, mediocre execution. Disher fails to devolop characters and situations, however he presents readers with an intriguing storyline.
Unknown reviewer wrote:Disher uses very simple language for effect but jumps into the the depths of his characters far too quickly. not much development as i would have liked.

Garry Disher manages to capture every emotion and every character's story in this fabulous book. I have read it a number of times, yet still grip my chair in suspense and cry at the sad bits. It leaves a wonderful effect on anyone.
