I enjoyed this book very much. Even though when you start reading one of Brian Jacques' books you know that everything will turn out fine. You just don't know how or why, and after the first few paragraphs you want to know. I am only ten, and my opinion usually doesn't mean alot to people but since I am writing this i want to dissagree with the person who said that this is only about a stupid badger, because it isn't, it's a story about bravery, and hope, and all that other stuff. I love this series and I want to own every single book about Redwall, or Salamandastron or anything pertaining to it. Brian Jacques is a great author and his books are my favorite books in my whole collection, and that's a whole lot of books. Anyone who reads this thank you for taking into consideration my opinion, when not so many people do.

I personally love the book. I totally got sucked into the the book. I have read the whole series and own most of the books. They are awsome books "Lord brocktree" Is the first book of the series in hardback I got.I got it for Xmas and read it in five days. All the Redwall Books are very good. I've mastered all of the languages in the books. When I read the "Redwall" book I coulden't understand the languages and now there easy. The series is great! I can't wait for the next.

I have not yet finished this book yet, but I am already engrossed in it fully. I am 13 years old and I have loved every single one of Brian Jacques books. My goal is to buy the entire set one day and read it from start to finish so I can read Redwall's entire history. I have library fees galore because I always return Redwall books late 'cause I read them two and three times over.
In my opinion, Brian Jacques has never, is never, and will never write a bad book, just so long as it is about Redwall or Salamandastron.

I personally thought the book was awful. It made no sence. It was about some dumb badger. I don't really recommend the book. It was just really quite boring.

This book was great. I am 12, so people probably won't read this, but I have enjoyed the Redwall series for years. Things that surprised me were that about every 20 pages a new character popped up, which I think is a little exsesive, but it added flavor to the book.
Overall, I rate it a 9 out of 10.

Lord Brocktree, the 13th novel in Brian Jacques's exciting Redwall series, brings to life the tale of how the greatest badger lord of all
came to save Salamandastron, the mountain home of many heroic creatures. Everybeast will love heroic Lord Brocktree and his
amazing adventure.
As the story opens, the villainous Ungatt Trunn, a menacing wildcat, has brought his powers to bear on Salamandastron,
threatening the peace-loving beasts who live there.
Loneliness was everywhere. Hopelessness and an air of foreboding had settled over the western shores, casting their
pall over land, sea and the mountain of Salamandastron. Yet nobeast knew the cause of it.
But all is not lost. Old Lord Stonepaw, the venerable Badger Ruler, summons the strongest of the strong to take over as lord of the
mountain fortress and battle the evil wildcat. Lord Brocktree, far away from the trouble, begins to have visions that beckon him to
Salamandastron. He travels there with his companion, a young haremaid named Dotti. But can he raise an army in time to smash
Ungatt Trunn's terrifying Blue Hordes?
Like all the Redwall books, Lord Brocktree is a rollicking tale of adventure, war, magic, and beastly battles. The animal characters
are sometimes brusque and brutal, and there's a strong current of darkness in the stories, as well as no-nonsense death scenes
and strong language. But for fans of medieval fantasy adventure with a twist, this unforgettable series continues to satisfy. (Ages 9
and older)
