Amazon.com reviews:

Rating: 5 Summary: Shel Silverstein
Comment Another crowd pleaser at the birthday party. Shel Silverstein does so many good children's books. This is another great one. I found it in a local bookstore and after looking at the price wrote it down and come home to AMAZON. Another Amazon winner price wise. Excellent condition. That's my new routine...browse bookstores for nifty things and buy them here.

Rating: 5 Summary: Ernie caught the egg every time!
Comment If you're looking for a quick read and a good laugh, uncle shelby's ABZ's will deliver. Written like a children's book, but definitely not something you'll want your kids to read, Shel Silverstein re-kindles the kid in you with an amazing book of short poems and anecdotes. Just thinking about children reading and following this book should send chills down any parent's spine, and any children reading this should have a good sense of right and wrong, otherwise dad will find he's received a free haircut and there'll be eggs all over the kitchen floor! Great laugh! I had this book when I was in my early teens and had to pick it up again as an adult for more laughs!

Rating: 3 Summary: Not my favorite.
Comment I didn't realize this is a book for adults. I bought it for my children's library and it doesn't fit.

Rating: 5 Summary: This book is so funny!
Comment The first time I read this book I thought it was so funny. My mom has pages that where copied from the book so I was under the impression that it's hard to find. Ive asked people if they have heard of it and no one that I know knows what it is. I recommend this book to anyone that is a child at heart. One of my favorite parts in the book (don't quote me on this) but he says to put peanut butter in the drain so the monster can eat it cause he's hungry. I chuckle every time I read this book. I'm buying myself a copy just so I can show everyone I know. My advise is to buy it as soon as you can, it's worth the read.

Rating: 5 Summary: Brilliantly twisted
Comment My parents received this gift on my behalf for my 2nd birthday. A few years later, after learning how to read, I got my hands on it, and I've been demented ever since.
