Harry Potter book series
The Harry Potter series was originally written as a series of childrens books but got quite some interest from adults too. By the time the 5th book Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came out, Harry Potter had become quite a hype and people ordered the book in millions.Special is also that the books also come out in so-called 'Adult editions'. This doesn't mean the book has more adult situations, it just means the cover is changed to look less like a childrens' book.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
The first book in the series. Here we discover who Harry Potter when we
go along with Harry Potter discovering himself. From being a boy living with
his aunt and uncle (who mistreat him) to being a wizard in training.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The second book in the series. Going back to school lands Harry in more
trouble than planned.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The third book in the series.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The fourth book in the series.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (UK edition), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (US edition) The fifth book in the series. Harry grows up more, gets girl trouble.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (US edition), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (UK edition) the sixth book in the series.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (US edition the upcoming seventh book, to be published 21 July 2007.
